Time in jail for repeat probation violator. A 33-year-old Plattsmouth woman was sentenced to 90 days in the Cass County Jail for multiple violations of her probation.
Stephanie D. Masid admitted last month to the probation violations. She did not show up last week for her sentencing hearing, a warrant was issued, and she was in jail clothes this week for the judge’s decision. Chief Deputy Cass County Attorney Colin Palm said she did not show up for the pre-sentence interview with the probation office prior to the sentencing either.
The Cassgram reports District Court Judge Randall Rehmeier said that when he placed Masid on probation last year for thefts of a laptop and other items, he thought she would respond. However, she missed probation visits, missed drug/alcohol tests and failed to pay costs.
