A man who charged Lincoln residents for appliance repairs but didn't do the work has been sentenced to prison.
Forty-five-year-old Randolph Fuller had pleaded no contest to two counts of theft by deception. On Monday he was given 2.5 to five years in prison.
The charges were felonies because he'd been jailed for working the same scam before.
Court records say that in August 2011 Fuller worked under the company name of A+ Appliance Repair and charged a Lincoln man $272 to get an ice maker part. Fuller got the money but not the part.
Records say that in November 2011 a Lincoln woman reported that Fuller charged $270 to fix her dishwasher but didn't return with the part to complete the work.
