The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Douglas County
is holding an event at Elkhorn South High School Saturday.
Relay For Life is a fun way to join with others in the community in the fight against cancer of raising funds to support the American Cancer Society’s mission by helping people stay well, by helping people get well, by finding cures and by fighting back. It is a way to celebrate the lives being saved from cancer and to remember those lost.
Teams form and raise money prior to the event, then come together to camp out overnight and enjoy the activities and celebrate life. To register a team, purchase a luminaria or participate as a cancer survivor, call 402-393-5801 or visit www.RelayForLife.org.
