Relay for Life is a fun-filled overnight event that groups throughout the state, and throughout the country, put on each year to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
The night celebrates survivors and remembers loved ones, while raising money to find a cure.
Friday is the first of many Relay for Life events across the area. It's at Creighton University at the Kiewit Fitness Center. It starts at 6 p.m. Friday night and goes through 6 a.m. Saturday morning.
Throughout the spring there are Relay for Life events happening across the area. If you'd like to get involved, here are links to the individual events. Click on the event location to go to that event's web site.
