The Hilton in downtown Omaha was a packed house on tonight, all for a good cause. More than 600 hundred people attended a celebration of breast cancer survivors.

Channel 6's Brian Mastre was the master of ceremonies, complete with a pink tie.

The biggest part of the festivities was the unveiling of this year's Project Pink'd calendar as a way to raise money for research.

"My grandmother passed away from breast cancer in 1991 and my mother in 2004. And here we are in 2013 and we've made large strides in this battle against breast cancer," said attendee Jeremy Schaffer.

"All the doctors that we work with they're getting better all the time and learn more every day," attendee Keith Hoffman said.

Project Pink'd has helped more than 1500 people in Nebraska and Iowa survive breast cancer.
