An Omaha man was sitting in a Sarpy County jail Monday morning after being busted with more than 100 pounds of pot.
He's identified as 27-year-old Kortney J. Cunegin.
Authorities say he was speeding on Interstate 80 in West Omaha at 9 o'clock on Saturday morning, July 27, when a Nebraska State Trooper pulled him over.
The trooper says he smelled marijuana as he approached Cunegin's car and a subsequent search of the vehicle turned up 107 pounds of marijuana in the trunk. Authorities say it was bundled in a couple of parcels wrapped in black plastic.
Cunegin was taken to the Sarpy County Jail and faces a charge of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver.
