More than a dozen Omaha police officers and a K9 unit surrounded a metro home Monday with shields and guns drawn. Three people were removed from the home after, police said, a shooting took place inside.

Shortly after 11 a.m., a shooting victim, identified as 38-year-old Louis Ramos, arrived at the Southeast Precinct with a wound that is considered non-life threatening. Officers there called an ambulance for Ramos.

Ramos told police he went to a home at 21st and Q Street to pick-up some property. Ramos said the suspect took him to the basement and, at some point, pointed a gun at Ramos' head. When Ramos tried to grab the gun, it went off, grazing him in the head. Ramos said the man let him go and he immediately went to the precinct for help.

Only Channel 6 News was there as officers surrounded the home at 21st and Q Street. Two men and a woman were taken out of the home, in handcuffs, and taken to Police Headquarters to be questioned; however, police report no arrests have been made.
