Police rushed to a north Omaha neighborhood Wednesday morning to investigate a reported shooting, but they discovered a different situation once they arrived on scene.
Neighbors near 29th and Erskine had called in, saying someone had been shot. But officers canvassed the scene around 1 a.m. and found that no one had been hit. They followed by by going from door to door and looking for evidence while checking on residents.
At this point, no suspect information has been released connected to the incident.
