Police Asking CWS Fans To Report Suspicious Activity

So many people coming to Omaha for the College World Series means a lot of security.

However, the Omaha Police Department says it's not making any changes this year.

It says in the past, it's given maximum security for fans, and is doing the same this year.

It is asking for help though.

Police say if you see something suspicious, let them know right away.

“There's a lot more public walking around out here, so again, it's those additional sets of eyes, it's that additional awareness that we can turn around and ask for, because people will see something, and again, they can let us know about it, and then we can address that issue," says Sgt. Matt Manhart, Commander of the Bomb Squad for the Omaha Police Dept.

There will be police all over Ameritrade Park, but the department says if you do see something wrong, call 911 first.
