A Virgin America flight made a safe landing, after being diverted to Omaha late Tuesday morning.
Just before 10 a.m., emergency dispatchers put out an "Alert 2" at Eppley Airfield. They reported 114 souls were on board the Virgin flight.
Firefighters and emergency personnel were waiting for the flight to land and escorted to the plane down the tarmac. No one was hurt.
A passenger on board told WOWT 6 News the plane experience engine trouble over Sioux City and the pilot shutdown an engine, as a precaution.
The plane had left Boston and was en route to Los Angeles.
