An Omaha man is out of the hospital and now faces felony motor vehicle homicide charges for a crash that killed his friend. Tyler Robar, 23, was driving his pickup erratically, according to police, and rolled it on I-680 near Pacific Street. His passenger, Charles Brown, 20, of Bellevue was ejected and died at the scene.
The crash happened on January 31 around 6:20pm.
Witnesses stated Robar was swerving in and out of traffic and attempted to pass on the inside shoulder.
The driver struck a southbound 2011 Subaru that was in the inside left lane.
The collision caused the Ford to swerve across all four lanes of southbound I-680. It then struck an embankment, went airborne, and came to rest overturned on the Pacific St. on-ramp.
Robar is shown wearing a neck brace in his mug shot.
