The Papillion Fire Department will host a community appreciation breakfast and open house Sunday, Oct. 14th.
The event will offer free pancakes and an opportunity to meet firefighters. It will run from 8 a.m. till noon at Papillion Fire Station No. 1 at 146 N. Adams Street.
Firefighters will be conducting a live vehicle extrication demonstration, and a LifeNet helicopter will be on display. There will also be face painting and balloon animals for the kids.
