Several hours after storms rolled through the area OPPD is reporting fewer than 250 outages in eastern Nebraska. It was a quick change for hundreds of OPPD customers. At one point more than 1,500 OPPD customers were in the dark in the early morning hours.

Just after 3:00 a.m., about 1,400 outages were reported in Douglas County, most of those in south Omaha. Less than 100 were reported in Sarpy County.

In Iowa, less than 100 MidAmerican Energy customers lost power overnight.

OPPD and MidAmerican have not confirmed if the storms led to those outages. Crews are out working to restore services now.
