The man accused of shooting his girlfriend, hours after being released on parole, appeared in court Monday afternoon.
A judge set bond for Antonio Hattix at $100,000.
He will need to post ten percent, or $10,000, to get out of jail.
He is charged with felony assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
The victim, Tiffany Tyler, is expected to make a full recovery.
Police called to 24th and Poppleton at 10:15 p.m. found 26-year-old Tiffany Tyler in the parking lot of Midtown Gas & Grocery with a foot wound.
She told officers she'd been shot outside of her home near 21st and Poppleton. It was there that her boyfriend, 25-year-old Antonio Hattix, was taken into custody and booked for felony assault and use of a gun by a felon.
Channel 6 News has learned Hattix was paroled earlier Friday after spending a year in jail on drug charges.
The Good Time Law let him out 191 days early.
