A man and a woman are recovering after being wounded in a drive-by shooting Thursday morning in Omaha.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jasmine Walsh told police she was in a vehicle near North 44th and Pratt streets just before 1 a.m. when a vehicle drove by and someone inside opened fire. Walsh drove to 41st and Izard where medics found her and took her to Alegent Creighton University Medical Center.
One of the bullets punctured her vehicle's gas tank. Hazmat teams responded to clean up the fuel spill at 41st and Izard.
About a half-hour later, 31-year-old SirJames Johnson walked into Immanuel Hospital and Medical Center for treatment of a graze wound suffered in the same shooting.
