A Sunday morning traffic accident claimed a second life on Monday. Seventeen-year-old Savannah Robertson died when life support was removed. Fourteen-year-old Jenna Miner died at the scene of the accident.

Investigators have confirmed that Ms. Robertson was the driver of a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix that collided with another vehicle Sunday morning on Highway 75 near Murray. She reportedly lost control of the car, crossed the center line, and hit the other vehicle.

Robertson and Miner were close friends; students at Conestoga High School.

Savannah was critically injured in the accident and died when life support was removed on Monday afternoon.

Their car collided head-on with a Ford Probe. The driver of that vehicle, 36-year-old Travis Laporte and his brother, 34-year-old Kevin Laporte, a passenger in the vehicle, were both transported to the hospital in critical condition. By Monday afternoon, both had been upgraded to good condition.
