Omaha police say an officer has been injured in a collision with a car driven by drunken driver.
Officer Mike Bossman was taken to the hospital after the accident that occurred around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday. Bossman was treated for a shoulder injury and then released.
The department says a car driven by 32-year-old Chad Sample ran a stop sign and hit Bossman's cruiser in northeast Omaha.
Sample was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. He and his passenger were not injured.
