Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo is open on Thanksgiving day. It's the first year the zoo will be open for the holiday. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The zoo says there is something for everyone in the family, with more than seven acres of indoor exhibits around 72 degrees.
Tickets can be purchased online ahead of time, which allows visitors to bypass the Ticketing Area and head straight to the Redemption Gates to jump start their adventure.
