Omaha Woman Stalked After Unknown Craigslist Ad

A South Omaha woman is contacted by dozens of people after someone posts her personal information to a Craigslist ad.

"I got your number off the craigslist ad--and I said craigslist ad, what ad?"

The woman, who asked WOWT 6 News to keep her identity private, said she thought someone was playing a prank on her when she first began getting calls early February.

But then the calls and texts flooded in, most extremely graphic and sexual in nature.

One of the callers told her that their was a Craigslist add circulating with her number on it.

"I have been reluctant to log into my yahoo account just because you don't know where they got this information from."

She contacted police after one of the callers claimed to be watching her while she was in her house.

"This is beyond just somebody posting an ad--this has become stalking if they know when I'm home and they know when I'm at work."

She said police have subpoenaed her phone records and contacted Craigslist to find out who posted her information.
