The Omaha Public Works Department reminds residents that there will be no garbage, yard waste or recyclable material collection on Thanksgiving Day.
The schedule will not change for residents who have their collections on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Collections regularly scheduled for Thursday will be collected on Friday instead and collections regularly scheduled for Friday will be collected on Saturday.
Residents are urged to have their garbage, yard waste and recyclable collections set out by 6 a.m. Yard waste collections will continue through the winter months.
This year's Christmas tree recycling locations will be announced in the coming weeks.
