OPS High School Open Houses Begin

Hundreds of metro 8th graders had a chance to step in the shoes of a high school student on Tuesday night as OPS began its series of open houses. It's an opportunity to learn what is offered at each high school.
OPS High School Open House Schedule:
Thursday, January 10, Northwest High, 6-8pm;
Saturday, January 12, Central High, 2-4pm;
Thursday, January 17, South High, 6-8pm;
Tuesday, January 22, Bryan High, 6-8pm;
Thursday, January 24, Benson High, 6:30-8pm;
Saturday, January 26, Career Center, 10-noon;
Sunday, January 27, North High, 1-3pm
Burke High School was the first one to show off the curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
The open houses also gives students who might be interested in transferring from another district a taste of the place.
