The Omaha Police Department is getting $12,185 in grant funding. It will be used to keep drivers safe through Halloween.
The grant comes from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety.
Operations start October 25th and will run through October 31st.
The Omaha Police Department will allocate additional officers throughout the City of Omaha looking for impaired drivers.
