The state's Judicial Resources Commission has forwarded the names of seven candidates for the governor to consider for a vacant county court judgeship in Lincoln.
The judgeship was left vacant with the March 31 retirement of Lancaster County Judge Mary Doyle.
Gov. Dave Heineman will choose which nominee will take over the court in the 3rd Judicial District.
The nominees are Matthew Action, John Albin, Milissa Johnson-Wiles, Janice Lipovsky, Lori Maret and Rodney Reuter, all of Lincoln; and Joseph Dalton of Waverly.
