A former Lincoln Public Schools worker has pleaded no contest to arson for starting a fire at the district's headquarters.

Sharon Brewster made her plea Tuesday in Lancaster County
District Court. The May 30 blaze destroyed the office building and
caused an estimated $20 million in damage.

Prosecutors allege Brewster set flame to some papers on May 30
on a supervisor's desk over frustration about how she was being
treated.

In exchange for Brewster's plea, prosecutors won't seek
restitution.

The arson charge carries a maximum prison term of 20 years. Her
sentencing is set for May 22.
