Humans and pets safely escaped a Lincoln fire Wednesday morning that damaged a business and the apartment above it.
Streets around Randolph Jewelry & Loan at 27th and Randolph were closed as firefighters battled the blaze.
The fire was between the drop ceiling and roof on the second floor, making it difficult to get under control.
