Angelo Douglas pled guilty to one count of attempted robbery and one count of use of a weapon to commit a felony.

He was sentenced to 1 year for the attempted robbery and 5 years for use of a weapon. Despite efforts to transfer his case to juvenile court, he was charged, convicted and sentenced as an adult.

The 18-year-old Douglas and Marquail Thomas entered the Walgreens store at 60th and Military in April of 2010. Thomas was armed with a shotgun which he pointed at one of the customers.

Another customer, Harry McCullough, pulled out a gun and shot Thomas who managed to run out of the store but then collapsed and died in the parking lot.

McCullough collared Douglas and held him until police arrived. McCullough was not charged with any crime.
