Less than two weeks after they first hit the streets one of Omaha’s new police cruisers has been wrecked.
The Omaha Police cruiser, one of the new Chevy Caprices, is in the city maintenance yard.
It was hit while working the scene of crash on the Sorenson Parkway near Fontenelle Blvd. on Sunday at the "height" of the storm.
Damage to this one is estimated at around $8,000.
Fortunately, the officer was okay.
