New Man On Wildlife Beat

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) announced the selection of Clint Riley as the new Assistant Regional Director for Migratory Birds and State Programs for the Mountain-Prairie Region, which is headquartered in Denver. The Mountain-Prairie Region includes Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas.

Riley previously led the Pennsylvania Ecological Services Field Office of the Service’s Northeast Region. In that position, Riley was responsible for projects ranging from endangered species protections to private lands conservation through Partners for Fish and Wildlife projects.

Prior to Pennsylvania, Riley worked at the Service’s Headquarters Office. Riley first served as Special Assistant to the Director and later as a Branch Chief in the Division of Bird Habitat Conservation and the Deputy Division Chief for the Division of Migratory Bird Management.
