Lincoln police say an argument involving several neighbors escalated to a stabbing early Friday morning. Two people were hauled off to jail while another was rushed to a doctor.
Police were called to 800 H Street where they found a 32-year old man who had been stabbed in the abdomen. Officers say they were able to determine that the victim was arguing with 31-year-old Brad West who used a pocket knife in the stabbing. Police found the knife in 40-year-old Rena Quigley’s pocket.
It appears the victim and the two suspects argued over the way a member of West's family was being treated.
Quigley was arrested for being an accessory to a felony. West was arrested for first degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
Wounds to the victim are not believed to be life threatening.
Police say after the victim was stabbed, he punched West in the face. The result of the punch can be seen on West's mug shot.
