Hundreds lined the streets Saturday morning for a parade at 50th and Underwood in Omaha that kicked off the Dundee Days celebration.
Some marchers got an early start with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m., followed by the parade that provided dessert. “They throw out a lot of candy and where I am there's lots of candy,” said Roscoe Ricketts of Omaha. “The people throw out candy."
Activities included the Dundee Olympics and a beer garden with live music is planned for Saturday night.
The neighborhood library is accepting book donations this weekend.
