A 21-year-old man has been arrested after a standoff with Lincoln police.

The incident began Sunday evening when A.J. Busse got into a dispute with a woman in a residence at the Shamrock Mobile Home Park. She called a friend, who went to help.

Authorities say Busse went outside when the woman's friend arrived and fired two shots from a .22-caliber rifle into the ground. The bullets didn't hit anyone.

Police were then called, and officers soon surrounded the mobile home. After about an hour, the woman and Busse went outside.

Police Capt. David Beggs says Busse was arrested on suspicion of assault, discharging a firearm in the city and terroristic threats. Online court records don't list the name of Busse's attorney.
