The sixth annual Nebraska Wind Conference will feature national and local experts in the wind and solar energy fields.
The conference title is "Harvesting Nebraska's Potential." It is scheduled for Nov. 13-15 at The Cornhusker hotel in Lincoln.
Attendees will hear from the candidates for Nebraska governor, as well as state senators, about the impact of wind on Nebraska's economy and future. The chief executive officers of Nebraska Public Power District, Omaha Public Power District and Lincoln Electric System will discuss the future of renewable energy in Nebraska.
Event planner Paula Steenson says early registration through Oct. 15 costs $100. Registration costs $125 starting Oct. 16.
