Nebraska is among the top states in the country for business. Forbes magazine's 2012 list of the best states for business ranks Nebraska sixth and Iowa 10th.
The ratings are based on such factors as business costs, labor supply, regulatory environment, economic climate, growth prospects and quality of life.
The top five are Utah, Virginia, North Dakota, North Carolina and Colorado. Maine was rated as the worst state to do business in followed by Rhode Island, Hawaii, Michigan and Mississippi. Click here to view the entire list.
