3,703 People Without Power
Hope to Have All Areas Fixed By Wednesday
The Omaha Public Power District says just under 2,000 customers remain without power Wednesday morning after wild storms came through the metro on Monday.
1,788 customers are still in the dark after a number of crews worked overnight. OPPD crews are receiving help from NPPD, Southern Power and Lincoln Electric Systems. A full force will return to city streets Wednesday morning to keep restoring services.
OPPD estimates that everyone's lights will be back on by 11 p.m. Wednesday.
