As a 25-year-old woman recovers from serious injuries the investigation into the crash that nearly killed her is complete.
Earlier this month, Amber Wilkins was driving near LaVista when a dump truck smashed into her car.
LaVista police have completed their investigation and turned reports over to the Sarpy county attorney for review.
The county attorney will decide if there’s enough evidence to prove careless or reckless driving by the dump truck driver.
Witnesses at the scene reported the truck going through a yellow light.
