You would think we got a foot of snow with the number of crashes that reduced Tuesday morning's commute to a crawl. By 6:50 a.m. Omaha Police were on accident alert and no longer responding to non-injury crashes.

Interstate 80 was slow both east and west bound before sunrise. By 7:45 a.m. traffic was backed up from 42nd Street all the way to Giles Road for west Omaha commuters trying to get downtown.

There were a number of slide-offs including one you'll see in the video above. This happened just after 4:00 a.m. near 113th and Evans in Northwest Omaha. The woman driving told police she wasn't sure what she hit that left all of the damage after she lost control on the snowpacked street.

There were a number of crashes on the Kennedy Freeway that left Sarpy County commuters moving at a crawl.

An injury crash at 108th & Blondo forced police and paramedics to close down two lanes of traffic for a short time just after 7:15 a.m. for an ambulance to take away a driver with minor injuries. #
