A Heartland mom spends part of an evening locked inside her bathroom, protecting her children from the naked man tearing up their apartment.
Twenty-nine-year-old Sir James Johnson has been booked on a number of charges after he made quite an impression on the entire apartment building.
The victim says, "He was like an animal. I think he thought he was in a jungle. He was growling at us and it was scary."
The 22-year-old mother of two does not want to be identified because she is so scared.
The other night a friend brought a stranger over to her place. Soon he was taking off his clothing and tearing up the apartment.
The victim grabbed her children and locked herself in the bathroom while, police say, Sir James Johnson tore up the place.
The victim says after what felt like an eternity Sir James left her apartment, now he is pounding on the walls, he is punching the walls and he is trying the neighbors' doors. By now everyone is calling 911.
Alyssa Rogers points out some of the damage Johnson allegedly caused. The fresh paint is covering some of the blood from his hands.
Alyssa Rogers says, "We just moved from a different building to get away from noisy neighbors."
Officers arrived on scene and saw all the damage but Johnson had calmed down considerably.
Dennis McCabe says, "They came in and they saw the blood on the wall and they weren't messing around at all. I opened the door and pointed there."
Moments and one taser sting later Johnson was in police custody and things were returning to normal.
Johnson faces charges of indecent exposure and possession of a controlled substance.
