The Nebraska State Patrol says a motorcyclist appeared to be more like a daredevil Tuesday afternoon. A trooper tried to stop the 1998 Suzuki for speeding two miles south of Alvo on Highway 63 in Cass County.

The motorcyclist failed to stop and a chase began. It reached speeds of 100 miles an hour and lasted about 11 minutes.

At one point, the pursuit went into Sarpy County. At the junction of Highways 6 & 31, the motorcyclist jumped the median curb and brushed a state patrol car. The man put the motorcycle on its side.

Thirty-three-year old Tyson R. Green of Ashland was treated at Midlands Hospital. Once he was released, Green was booked in the Cass County jail for various charges including flight to avoid arrest, speeding, willful reckless driving, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Green also had an outstanding warrant out of Cass County.
