Omaha police say a mother cut her 16-year old daughter after an argument Friday morning.
Officers responded to 40th and Ohio Street at 9:30a.m., where 16-year old Wizdom Belgrave told police that her mother 37-year-old Lee Anne Belgrave cut her with a knife in the hand during a fight and then ran from the house.
30 minutes later, police found the suspect returning to the area. Belgrave was taken into custody and booked for felony assault.
Her daughter was taken to Creighton University Medical Center with a minor hand injury.
