A Heartland mother calls police to report two men trying to break into her home. Both she and her infant child were home at the time.
According to police reports the woman called 911 on Saturday, January 26th at around 4:30PM. She told dispatchers two people were trying to gain entrance into her house located in the area of 40th and Read.
When officers arrived two young men ran from the scene but were captured after a short foot pursuit.
Two teen males both age 15 have been booked into the Douglas County Youth Center on attempted burglary charges.
One window screen on the house was damaged allegedly while the boys were using a pry tool to gain entry.
