More time added to a current prison sentence.
27-year-old Heather M. Boone of Omaha had her probation revoked and was sentenced to 24 to 48 months in the Nebraska Department of Corrections.
Boone is already serving 36 months to 72 months for two felony forgery counts out of Sarpy County.
Boone was originally placed on probation in Cass County for cashing forged checks at Sac Federal Credit Union in the summer of 2011. She was to pay restitution to the credit union according to the Cassgram.
But she didn’t pay the restitution and violated several other terms of her probation, said the prosecution.
Boone’s conviction in Cass County was a “whole separate incident,” said Cass County District Court Judge Jeffrey Funke as he tacked on the Cass County sentence to the time she is already serving for her Sarpy County conviction. She is still responsible for $1,450 restitution to Sac Federal Credit Union and over $5,000 to financial institutions in Sarpy County.
