Clean-up efforts continue in Blair and the weather that caused the problems in the first place keeps hampering the recovery.
The town was hit hard by Tuesday's storm. Baseball-sized hail damaged many homes and more stormy weather pushed through on Thursday.
Lori Diggins is one of the homeowner trying to get things back on track. She told us Tuesday’s storm, “busted out all those windows and we are putting up boards finally.”
Lori showed us the damage saying, “Just watch your step. Everything is a mess.
“Just absolutely pouring down rain and we were trying to get something on the windows to keep the damage down.”
They put tarps over the windows because local stores were out of plywood.
“This window here - look at the size of the hail stone that went through.”
Terry Hansen, who was visiting, said, “They are talking between now and Saturday more severe storms.”
Terry helped his friend board up his home during Tuesday's storm and told us, “It could hit again. It's always subject to happening again.”
All they can do is wait and see what happens.
Lori said, “After seeing this damage, I mean I'm going to be like hiding under, under ground. It's scary.”
Thursday's threat of severe weather only brought with it heavy rain and some wind. The carnival is still planned for Friday.
