Money available to help a good cause.

Plattsmouth community Foundation now accepting 2013 grant applications through the Atkinson Endowment Fund -- The deadline for this grant cycle is January 15, 2013. Applications are available at http://www.nebcommfound.org/fund/plattsmouth.

The Cassgram reports this year, $8,000 will be awarded to local qualified applicants. The purpose of these grants is to respond to present and emerging needs in the Plattsmouth community area by supporting charitable efforts.

Grant recipients, in addition to the 2013 Citizen of the Year, will be announced at the Plattsmouth Community Foundation Fund’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, March 14, 2013.
