A major deal in the medical world has been announced. Johnson and Johnson will pay as much as $1 billion to buy Aragon Pharmaceuticals, the maker of an experimental prostrate cancer drug. Johnson and Johnson will pay $650 million upfront, and as much as $350 million more if the drug meets certain milestones.
Hundreds of hours of new programs are headed to Netflix. The streaming video site has partnered with Dreamworks on a deal to deliver more than 300 hours of original animated programs to Netflix customers. The first series is projected to start next year.
Couples are spending more to say "I Do." Online jewelry site Blue Nile says it had its best first quarter for engagement ring sales this year, while X-O Group says the average U.S. wedding price rose about five percent last year, to more than $28,000.
