In a complaint filed Monday, The New York State Psychiatric Association and patients allege United Health Group denied or limited access to mental health treatment, which is in violation of state and federal laws.
A judge has blocked New York's ban on big sodas, which was set to take effect Tuesday. A New York Supreme Court justice approved a petition filed by beverage makers and restaurants to block the 16 ounce sugary drink maximum. Mayor Michael Bloomberg, found of Bloomberg News, pushed the ban as a way to curb obesity.
What a difference a few years can make when it comes to investing. Speaking at the South by Southwest Festival, Air BNB's CEO says a potential investor turned down a ten percent stake in the company for $100,000. Bloomberg reports the deal would be worth about $250 million now.
