The marriage of U.S. Airways and American Airlines will create healthier returns for investors, according to Doug Parker who has been tapped to run the combined airline. In a Bloomberg interview, Parker said the merger will allow the airline to better compete with rivals United and Delta, in turn providing a bigger benefit to investors.
The new watch that Apple is reportedly working on could be a major money maker. Bloomberg calculates the profit margin on watches is four times more than televisions, which is the other big product Apple is supposedly working on.
Monster Beverage Corporation says a group of physicians has found its product was not to blame in the death of a Maryland woman. The woman's family filed a lawsuit against the company alleging the company's caffeine-heavy drink is deadly. Monster says its group of doctors found no evidence linking her death to the drink.
