University of Nebraska at Omaha students are invited to the last Midnight Mojo event of 2011. This month’s theme: free bowling.
Once week before commencement, on Saturday, Dec. 10, at West Lanes, just north of 72nd and Dodge streets, the event runs from 10 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
The Midnight Mojo event is free and open to all UNO students. Students must present their MavCards to attend the event, which will include free bowling, free shoe rental, free food and free entertainment.
Students can catch the shuttle to West Lanes from University Village and Maverick Village at 9:45 p.m.; or they can drive to the bowling alley, which is located just blocks from the UNO campus.
The Midnight Mojo event, now in its third year, hosts free, late-night student activities that are sponsored by UNO.
Funding for Midnight Mojo events are made possible by U kNOw CHOICES in connection with LiveWise.
The LiveWise Regional Coalition is a nonprofit organization serving a five-county area (Cass, Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy and Washington) whose focus is to prevent the use or abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
