A new effort to encourage peace in Omaha continued Tuesday night.
A prayer walk and peace rally drew a couple dozen people to 16th and Victor. It's the third similar event in the past three weeks.
Organizers with Omaha 360 say these events are already making a difference.
Omaha 360 Director Jamie Anders-Kemp said, "We've gotten lots of folks to sign up and say I want to be part of this solution. Please call me. I've had folks calling me at my office. We've actually seen what seems to be a little bit of a decrease in some of the areas we've been in."
She's referring to a decrease in crime. Several officers were on hand for the event.
