Massive Blizzard Strikes New England

A massive blizzard slammed New England Friday and Saturday dumping up to three feet of snow. Over 600,000 customers were without power across the Northeast as of Saturday evening and 4,800 flights were canceled.
Channel 6 News meteorologist Jill Gilardi is from Massachusetts. Her family received two feet of snow with higher drifts. You can view pictures family members took before, during and after the storm by clicking on the slide show.
Portland, Maine received 31.9 inches of snow, a record for the city. Concord, New Hampshire got 24 inches, which was its second biggest snowfall. Logan Airport in Boston received 24.9 inches, its fifth biggest snowfall.
