Just two days into 2012, Omaha Police are investigating three new shootings. No arrests have been reported.

The latest happened early Monday morning near 54th & Curtis Ave.

Early reports indicate a man was shot in the foot. His injuries were minor. Douglas County Dispatch tells us the victim wasn't even transported to a hospital. It's unclear how many suspects are involved, if any.

Officers are also investigating two shootings that happened New Year's Day.

20-year-old Lavonte Hodges walked into the Creighton University Medical Center emergency room with a gunshot wound. He told police he was shot near 19th & Leavenworth just after 2:15 a.m., but police couldn't find a crime scene or witnesses.

Roughly 12 hours later, officers were called to 42nd & Ames. A man drove himself to a hospital after he was shot in the arm near the area. The victim's name hasn't been released.
